TOPOFF 3 Cybersecurity Exercise

Project Description

In March 2005, using the network simulation framework (NetSim) developed by ISTS for the Livewire national cyber exercises, the ISTS team created an immersive experience for the participants. Representatives from DHS, FBI, and US-CERT, as well as the Connecticut State Department of Information Technology, State Police and Department of Transportation encountered a scenario that included typical cyber attacks and non-cyber events such as power failures and terrorist attacks.
