Security Informant

Project Summary

Security InformantThe goal of this project is provide intrusion-detection, computer forensic, intelligence, or system analysts with up-to-date information on recent security threats and defenses. The Security Informant will: 1. Index open-source web sites pertaining to the rapidly changing computer security field; 2. Execute subscriber-defined queries against that index; 3. Notify subscribers, in an automated way, when updated information is available. Later to be known as "Cyber Sleuth".

Security CyberSleuth has been configured and is available to the public. It has over 600 registered users. General CyberSleuth installation tools and documentation has been prepared for handoff to a commercial partner.
