Prototype National Contact Index for Cyber Attack Investigators

Project Summary

The Technical Analysis Group developed and tested a national contact index of personnel involved in the investigation and prosecution of cyber attacks for the exclusive use of the Law Enforcement community. An interface has been developed that allows users to access the database through a web front-end. Users were issued usernames and passwords, and are able to search the database by name, organization, geographic location, specialty area, jurisdiction, and tools used. Initial data input has been completed was confirmed and updated. User data has been populated and testing has been completed.

Unfortunately, efforts with DHS to transition the prototype were unrealized.
