Project Summary: The increased dependence of our nation's infrastructure on information technology has created a need for tools that monitor the health of the Internet and provide early warning.  A prototype system was operational, however deployment to government test sites was unrealized.

Prototype system called BGP became operational and was subsequently given to NCS (in 2003) to be incorporated into a system called GEWIS (Global Early Warning Information System).
