Infrastructure Web
Project Summary: In the long term, the infrastructure web system will offer a platform to integrate the proposed Dartmouth Infrastructure protection process; intelligence, threat assessment, interdiction, detection, response and recovery. This system model provides nation-wide grids for monitoring and management of critical infrastructure, emergency information search and response, intelligence and evidence collection, and threat assessment. This will take many years to implement. the short term success of this project will be measured by the responses from the government, academic, and commercial sectors.
During the final phase of this project we continued to integrate new features into the fusion engine and message-oriented middleware. An improved version of the middleware was integrated into the first responder application testbed in preparation for the new Sensing, Communications and Information Management for Emergency Response project.
