ISTS Information Pamphlet
The Crisis Information Management Software (CIMS) Test Bed Project Evaluation Report is the record of results from the evaluation activities defined in the CIMS Test and Evaluation Master Plan (TEMP). It provides both the raw data results from the individual vendor evaluations and the decision-aid templates that permit each agency to apply the results relative to their specific priority requirements. The CIMS Evaluation Test Bed Project was established with the principal goal of evaluating commercial software in use by the emergency management agencies (EMAs) responding to crisis incidents, or in their planning and mitigation activities.
ISTS researcher Stephen Taylor contributed to the NIJ’s “Crisis Information Management Software (CIMS) Feature Comparison Report,” published in October of 2002.
