Gigabit Monitoring

Project Summary: This Sandia subcontract set out to develop methods for extending its 2.4Gbps (SONET OC-48) communications data processing/monitoring capability to higher speeds.  This effort includes development of prototype reconfigurable logic implementations and laboratory environment demonstrations of the hardware/software system.

A final paper titled "An Architecture for Gigabit Packet Filtering" was submitted in Sept 2001.
