TAG Cybercrime Summit

Project Summary

ISTS hosted a New Hampshire Law Enforcement Cyber Summit on November 13, 2003. In attendance were NH Governor Craig Benson, Attorney General Peter Heed, Deputy Attorney General Kelly Ayotte, and leading cyber crime investigators involved in building a cyber crime task force for the state. Although not directly supported by grant funds, facilitating the Cyber Summit was an opportunity for ISTS to share its experience and knowledge with state officials and to help fulfill its mandate of information sharing in the cyber security arena. The ISTS Executive Director and researchers briefed NH government and law enforcement officials on ISTS activities during the morning session. The afternoon was spent in closed-door sessions discussing major issues involving the growing threat of cyber crime.
