I3P Scholar Program

Program Description

The Institute for Information Infrastructure Protection (I3P) seeks to advance its national research agenda through a scholar program. The I3P scholar program will help to build a nationwide cadre of investigators focused on critical research challenges, provide recent graduates with an exceptional educational opportunity and enhance the research activities of I3P Consortium member institutions. Recent baccalaureate degree recipients selected to participate in the program will have a high quality one year work experience performing information security research in residence at one of the I3P Consortium member institutions.

Eligibility

Successful applicants will have received, or be expecting to receive, a bachelor’s level degree from an accredited US institution of higher education in 2008 or 2009. Applicants must complete all degree requirements prior to the commencement of the award. Applicants must hold US citizenship or an appropriate visa. Awards may be deferred or withdrawn at the discretion of the I3P review panel if degree requirements are not complete by the planned start date
