Shirley Gaw

Shirley Gaw joined Google Health in October as a software engineer. She currently works on the Personal Health Record platform and health information security. Shirley has a BEng in Computer Engineering from the University of Washington and a master's and PhD in Computer Science from Princeton University. Her graduate work focused on usable security, specifically the social factors affecting the adoption of secure technologies such as encrypted e-mail. She has had internships at Microsoft Research, Adobe Systems, and Intel.
