Sunny Consolvo

Sunny joined Intel Labs Seattle in October 2001. She has been developing persuasive technologies to support everyday behavior change, particularly for health-related behaviors such as encouraging people to be physically active. Sunny has also been developing tools to help people understand what they expose about themselves and others when they use 802.11 networking (i.e., “Wi-Fi”). Sunny’s prior research has included investigating privacy implications of location-enhanced technologies and developing technologies to help elders age in place. Sunny received her doctorate from the Information School at the University of Washington.
