Steve Nyman is a former FBI Agent and naval officer, graduating with a B.S. from the United States Naval Academy. Steve also holds a Master of Public Administration from the University of Rhode Island. Steve served in the Navy for five years following graduation from Annapolis, with three of those years aboard the destroyer USS HOLDER (DD 819), and final two years of active duty as an instructor at the Navy’s Surface Warfare Officers School in Newport, R.I. As an FBI agent, Steve served for 8 years in the New York City field office, investigating white collar and organized crime. Steve spent ten years with Pfizer, the world’s largest pharmaceutical company, where he was the global head of information security, responsible for safeguarding the company’s IT assets, and confidential information, from attack by hackers and those engaged in economic espionage. Steve is now the Chief Information Security Officer of Dartmouth College in Hanover, NH.

Steve is married to Rosemary, his childhood sweetheart, and they have five children. His hobbies include writing, boating, working on old British sports cars, keeping tropical and marine fish, and dabbling in developing inventions such as portable battery power system for satellite radios, infrared safety system for automobiles, and a climate control system for outdoor pet houses (battle tested by their cat, Jinx).
