Far McKon

Far McKon
Far McKon
Software Developer & Community Wrangler

Far McKon is a Software developer and Community Wrangler from the Philadelphia area. When he is not coding for fun and profit, he is teaching people and instigating interesting projects. His experience in the hacker, FOSS, and DIY communities has given him unique access to people who habitually learn new tools, as well as people who teach them. He believes that too often technology comes across as sacrosanct or mysterious, but that it should be accessible, decipherable, and most of all, hackable. A founder of two hackerspaces and a perpetual student, Far is an advocate of lifelong, hands-on learning.
