Jesse Walker
"Topics in Mesh Security"

Abstract: This talk will survey security issues raised by mesh networking and attempt to identify key problems which remain without solution.

Bio: Jesse Walker is an applied cryptographer in Intel's Communication Technology Laboratory. His research interests including network and distributed systems security, cryptographic algorithms, and security usability. Dr. Walker was first to identify vulnerabilities in the 802.11 WEP protocol, and served as editor for the 802.11i standard. He has made contributions to many other standards, including IPsec, DHCP, EAP, and COPS. He has a Ph.D. in Mathematics from the University of Texas.
